The city of Barcelona is the ideal location to explore the unique culture and history of Catalan and Spanish cultures. In this program students visit sites throughout Cataluny while thier professor lectures on the sites and content in Spanish. ESA provides all of the logisitical arrangements to make this extensive program happen along with host family placements and the tools and means to immerse students in Catalan culture. The program is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Hispanic and European Studies students to improve their linguistic skills and learn about this unique culture through its history, art, and people.
