With universal healthcare coverage and a decentralized system, Spain offers a unique setting to learn about Global Health. This program combines coursework with internships in different disciplines, such as odontology, medical research, veterinary, and medicine, in Barcelona's leading research hospitals. Students take Public Health and Medical Spanish courses taught by Universitat Pompeu Fabra faculty. ESA gives host family placements to augment their language immersion and experience. The program is a unique opportunity for Biosciences undergraduate students to develop their professional career and get to know the fascinating city of Barcelona
