This 5 weeks program is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Spanish language students to improve their linguistic skills, learn about culture, history, and art, and contact with Barcelona and its people. Students attend classes in the morning taught by their home university faculty and visit Barcelona's major cultural institutions- all in Spanish to provide real linguistic immersion. Students engage with the local culture by living with host families and having weekly outings with local students and ESA staff, such as a guided visit of Sagrada Familia or a Catalan cuisine workshop.
